Englisch - warum ?
My School Trip to York, England
On Monday November 29th the students of Form 8 met at school and we all were very excited. At 9o’clock we went by bus to Bruges in Belgium. When we arrived in Bruges our teacher told us a lot of things about the city. After that we set off in small groups to see everything. In Bruges there was a beautiful Christmas market with lots of different stalls and there was even an ice rink. Bruges has got lots of interesting shops and it is famous for the Belgian chocolate. We all bought little souvenirs for our families and friends. Of course we all ate chips because they are really great in Belgium.
In the evening we went to Zeebrugge and then by ferry to England (Hull). The sea was very rough and a few people were seasick. The next morning we had a super English breakfast on the ferry. After we had arrived in Hull we went by bus to York.
We first went to see the old City Walls. The weather was very bad, it was very cold and there was a lot of snow, so it wasn´t much fun. We also visited the cathedral, York Minster. I liked the great east window best. This big church is over 1000 years old. There was a man in the cathedral who told us a lot about it, but he was very difficult to understand. For the rest of the day we were allowed to walk around the city in small groups. We had to answer some questions for our “York quiz”. Of course it was more fun to look at all the shops – York has some really good clothes shops.
It was a great school trip.

January 11th was a sunny Saturday morning when Ben from California landed at an airport somewhere in Nebraska. He took a taxi and drove to Elisa’s house.
Elisa: Hallo, Ben!
Ben: Hallo, Elisa!
Elisa: Come in.
Ben: Oh, you’ve got a nice house.
Elisa: Thank you.
Ben: You look surprised. Is anything wrong?
Elisa: No, but I was surprised about you coming so fast. I´m very happy you´re here now.
Ben: I´m happy, too. Because I really like you.
Elisa: I love you, too! And now tell me, what would you like to do now?
Ben: I would like to see a park.
Elisa: That´s a good idea!
Later at the park . . .
Elisa: Here we are. Isn´t it beautiful here?
Ben: Yes, it is beautiful here.
Elisa: Well, what do you do in your free time?
Ben: I watch “Animes”. I know it ain’t very interesting for a girl.
Elisa: I like “Animes”, too.
Then silence . . . Long silence . . .
Ben: This place is beautiful.
Elisa: Ben, can you satisfy a wish?
Ben: Okay, what do you want?
Elisa: Ben, please kiss me!
Elisa: Why not?
Ben: Because . . .
Elisa: Because what!?!
Ben: Because I´m gay!
Elisa: Okayyyyy . . . (silence again) I don´t know what to say but w-w-w-w-we have written so many e-mails to each other for the last few weeks and now . . .
Elisa: Why haven’t you told me before?
Ben: We can be friends.
Elisa: NO! I don´t want you just as a normal friend, I want you as my boyfriend! I’ll go now. Bye! (written by Nia, 8d)
It's a cold Saturday in January 2020. Ben, a 15-year-old boy from California, arrives at an airport somewhere in Ohio and takes a taxi to Elisa‘s house. Elisa is a 15-year-old girl Ben has met on the internet recently. He has got ten red roses and some chocolate for her.
At Elisa’s house
Elisa: Hi, I am so happy to see you. Please come in.
Ben: I am happy, too.
Elisa: How are you?
Ben: I am fine, thanks, and you?
Elisa: I am fine, too, thanks.
Ben: Here, this is for you.
Elisa: Thank you so very much. Do you want a cool movie evening?
Ben: Yeah, of course.
Elisa: Okay, then come into my room. Which movie would you like to watch?
Ben: Maybe “To all the boys I loved before“?
Elisa: Oh yes, I love this movie.
Two hours later
Ben: I am so hungry, can you order some food, please?
Elisa: Yes, would you like a burger?
Ben: Yes, please.
Elisa: Okay, wait here, I‘ll be back in two minutes.
Elisa leaves the room. Then Ben takes out his mobile and writes some WhatsApp-messages to his girlfriend number one, Hannah, who lives in California. Hannah doesn't know anything about Elisa and Elisa doesn’t have a clue about Hannah either. After ordering some food Elisa comes back.
Elisa: The food will be here in 30 minutes.
Ben: Okay, I‘ll go to the toilet quickly.
He leaves his mobile on Elisa‘s bed. Elisa secretly goes to Ben’s mobile and sees the messages Ben has just sent to his other girlfriend.
Elisa: Naughty Ben!!!!!!!!!
He comes back.
Ben: What’s wrong?
Elisa: You already have a girlfriend?
Ben: No problem, sweetheart, I can explain it to you.
Elisa: You are a . . . I never want to see you again. Leave the house!!!
Ben: But I . . .
Elisa: GO!!! (written by Marla, 8

Text 4: Gundula’s blog
Good morning, my loves!
Yesterday was a normal day. I woke up at 8 o’clock. After that I woke my snoring husband and my five children who are sooooo cute. When they finally were awake, which took me half an hour of very hard work ;) , I stepped into the bathroom. I washed my face, cleaned my teeth and had a shower for about 20 minutes. I put on a hydrating facial mask and went to the kitchen. I made breakfast for my whole family.
By the way, I made it with the help of my own bowl cookerybook which you can buy on Amazon and in every good bookstore. This book is a perfect help for every type of meal you want. With the code:,“Gundula-loves-you“ you can get 30% off just for the next 20 hours. I also made six green, super-tasty avocado spinach smoothies for my kids and my handsome husband. Recipe also in my cookerybook.
At 10 o’clock my husband took our kids to our personal childcare assistant. I went to the gym and did some workout. Then I took a second shower at home and I worked on my new projects for about 30 minutes. But that was too much, so I fell asleep. After waking up I prepared some chicken salad for my family and me. My husband brought all the gang home and we had a pretty good meal together. After that I felt fat and so I did a half-an-hour-workout again. I cleaned the whole house in order to get rid of weight while my husband was playing with the kids.
And attention, attention!!! My folks, stay hydrated every day. It’s good for your skin. That’s why I drank one bottle of water while working. Outside it had got dark and I decided to jump into my very personal swimming pool. When I appeared in the living room again, we decided to go to bed. What a day! If you like my daily blog, please write a comment and leave a like :)
Good bye, sweethearts, and don’t forget to surf my fantastic, extraordinary website.

Strange voices turning real
Once upon a time there was a boy who lived in a little town. He was very good-looking and charming but still single because of his small size. Despite his loneliness he was at peace with himself.
One day he was invited to a party with his friends. His friend was very, very rich, that’s why he owned a big house. Lots of alcohol was drunk at the party. It didn’t take long until everyone was quite drunk. During the party the boy went away, confused about where he was and too drunk to recognize that he was about to run onto a street. He heard a sudden voice calling him to stop. The boy turned around but neither on the pavement nor on the street there was a person. “You need to look up”, the voice said. He looked up at the sky and in the corner of his eyes he noticed the green lamp of some traffic lights. They guy saw the light moving but he thought it was just because of his drunken mind.
He shook his head and was about to leave when he heard the voice again. “Help me, please.” “Why are you talking? Traffic lights don’t usually talk. And what am I doing? Talking to traffic lights? I’m an idiot.” “No, you’re not”, it answered. “It might sound crazy but I’m a real person. A witch once laid a curse on me because I often used to cross the streets while the traffic lights were red. And now I’m banned to live in traffic lights till someone saves me.” “That’s nonsense. I don’t understand it.” He was about to leave again. “Just help me, please. Take my hand and pull me out of the traffic lights.” The green light reached out its “hand”. The boy took it, even though he didn’t believe the story. He pulled and suddenly – next to him a tall and beautiful girl appeared. He fell in love at first sight. The boy and the girl went away and left some empty traffic lights. The boy and the girl lived happily ever after.
